    iFinance and iFinance Mobile Sync…

So here it is, iFinance mobile. It took centuries to get it to the App Store, no let’s have a look at it now.

OMG. My eyes are bleeding. Could you please stop making such ugly apps?

On my Mac, iFinance is not a beauty, but iFinance mobile is from hell.

What did you think about developing such a horrible sync feature? Take a closer look at Things, or even Wallet does it right. I’ve never set up a password on my local Mac database. So why did the first sync put the same password from iFinance mobile on my desktop database?

    iFinance sync steps:

    • Open iFinance on a Mac
    • Type in your password (look above - it is not the way it should be!)
    • Go to the Sync panel on the left (did you ever have a UI concept?)
    • Open iFinance mobile on your iPhone or iPod touch
    • Go to the Sync panel
    • Get back to the desktop app and choose your iPhone from the list
    • Press the sync button
    • Accept syncing on your iPhone/iPod touch

Things sync steps (once it is properly set up):

      • Open Things on your Mac
      • Open Things on your iPhone/iPod touch
      • Well there is no step three, it is already syncing

        Life could be so easy.
